Migrease ("we", "us", "our") operates the Migrease platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share your information. By using Migrease you consent to this policy in its entirety.
We collect everything you give us and everything your use generates. Information you provide: full name, email address, username, password; profile information: photo, bio, location, profession, origin country, languages, interests; all content you create: posts, comments, messages, reviews, feedback; all files and media you upload. Information collected automatically: IP address, device type, browser, operating system; all pages visited, features used, time and duration of use; log data: errors, access times, clickstreams; location data if you permit it; cookies and similar tracking technologies for authentication.
We use your information to: provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service; create and manage your account; enable communication between users; personalize your experience and content; send service-related notices, security alerts, and updates; respond to support requests; monitor and analyze usage; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity; enforce our Terms of Service; comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: service providers who help us operate the Service (AWS for infrastructure, Cognito for authentication, CloudFront for content delivery); law enforcement when required by law; successor entities in the event of a merger or acquisition; other users as part of the normal operation of the Service per your privacy settings.
Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the United States and Canada. We implement reasonable security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account exists. We may retain certain information after account deletion as required by law. Backups may persist for up to 90 days after deletion.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your account and associated data; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights contact privacy@migrease.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are required for the Service to function. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data to third parties.
The Service is not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information we will delete it promptly.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Canada, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ. By using the Service you consent to such transfers.
Migrease is not responsible for the privacy practices of other users. Exercise caution about what personal information you share publicly on the Service.
The Service may contain links to third-party sites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites.
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
