Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and Binding Agreement
By creating an account, accessing, or using Migrease in any way, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Migrease. If you do not agree to every provision of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. Your continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance of any modifications to these Terms.
2. Objectionable Content & Abusive Behavior Policy
ZERO TOLERANCE. Migrease does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior of any kind. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate content removal and account termination without notice or refund: • Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any user • Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age • Sexually explicit content, nudity, or sexually suggestive material • Content depicting or glorifying violence, self-harm, or harm to others • Spam, scams, fraudulent offers, or deceptive content • Impersonation of any person, organization, or entity • Doxxing or sharing of any person’s private information without consent • Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights WE COMMIT TO REVIEWING AND ACTING ON EVERY REPORT WITHIN 24 HOURS. Every user has access to in-app tools to (a) report objectionable content, (b) report abusive users, and (c) block any user — which immediately removes that user’s content from your view and notifies our moderation team. If you encounter any content or behavior that violates this policy, use the Report button (… menu on profiles, posts, comments, and messages) immediately. Reports are reviewed by Migrease moderators, and confirmed violations result in content removal, account warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans at our sole discretion.
3. User Responsibility
You are solely, fully, and entirely responsible for: all content you post, upload, share, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service; all actions taken through your account, whether authorized by you or not; any harm, damage, loss, or injury caused to any person or entity as a result of your use of the Service; ensuring all content you post complies with all applicable laws and regulations; any consequences arising from your interactions with other users on or off the platform; any agreements, arrangements, or transactions made with other users through the Service; your physical safety and the safety of others when meeting users in person (including through Meetease). MIGREASE ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR ANY USER ACTIONS, CONTENT, INTERACTIONS, OR CONSEQUENCES THEREOF, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
4. In-Person Meetings
When using the Meetease feature or any feature that facilitates in-person meetings: you assume ALL risks associated with meeting other users in person; Migrease does not verify the identity, background, character, or intentions of any user; Migrease is not responsible for any harm, injury, loss, theft, assault, or death that occurs during or as a result of any in-person meeting arranged through the Service; you are solely responsible for taking all reasonable safety precautions; Migrease expressly disclaims any and all liability for in-person interactions between users.
5. Content
You represent, warrant, and guarantee that: you own or have all necessary rights to all content you post; your content does not violate any law, regulation, or third-party right; your content is not defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful; you will indemnify Migrease against any claims arising from your content. Migrease has no obligation to monitor content but reserves the absolute right to remove any content and terminate any account at any time for any reason without notice or liability.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", "AS AVAILABLE", AND "WITH ALL FAULTS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. MIGREASE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT. YOU USE THE SERVICE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: MIGREASE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES; PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR DEATH. IF ANY PORTION OF THIS LIMITATION IS FOUND UNENFORCEABLE, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF MIGREASE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 CAD.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Migrease from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses arising from: your use of the Service; your User Content; your violation of these Terms; any dispute between you and any other user; any in-person meeting or interaction with another user.
9. User Disputes
You are solely responsible for resolving any disputes with other users. Migrease is under no obligation to become involved in any dispute between users.
10. Third-Party Deals
Deals and offers listed on Migrease are provided for informational purposes only. Migrease makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, availability, or terms of any deal.
11. Account Termination
Migrease reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice, without liability, and without refund of any kind.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in Toronto, Ontario.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Migrease regarding the Service.
